Celebration of transgender rights and standing up for all LGBT Indians activists (2 of 12).jpg
In the last months in India, a lot of actuality is happening in the LGBT community. After December 2013 and protestation against article 377 (ban of sexual relations between two person of same sex) the 15th April 2014 was a time for celebration. Indeed, the supreme court of India recognizes diverse gender identities. After Australia, it is a big step for India. When we speak about transgender in India, lot of people relate to hijas the most important community: Male to female in an organised society of Guru and Chela. It is Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, a famous hijas activist who was at the origin of the case.
